When are tryouts?
Tryouts are individualized to the athlete. You can schedule your tryout with Coach Bell. You can also attend an open gym or recruitment day to be evaluated.
Does the Louisburg College Cheerleading program offer scholarships?
Yes, it does!
Do you have a coed and an all-girl team?
The Louisburg College Cheerleading program is composed of a coed team.
Does your team compete?
Our main priority is to serve as ambassadors for the Louisburg College Athletic Teams and the College. If our schedule and budget permits us to travel to a competition and still fulfill our role with our teams, we will compete. The decision to compete will be made on a yearly basis, based on our obligations to our athletic teams and Louisburg College.
Can I tryout by video?

What can I do to prepare for tryouts?
The best way to prepare yourself for tryouts is to continue sharpening your skills. We also will have a scheduled and planned workout program. Proper nutrition and adequate hydration are very important.
Do I need a physical from my doctor before tryouts?
Each participant is required to have completed a physical and signed a medical waiver before any in-person tryout that must be turned in before the tryout.
What teams does the cheerleading program support?
The Louisburg College Cheerleading Program supports all of the athletic teams at Louisburg College. The cheerleading team is responsible for cheering at all home football, men’s, and women’s basketball games.
Does the cheer team travel to away games?
If an away game is deemed necessary by Coach Bell to attend, the cheerleading team will travel. It is unlikely that the cheerleading team will travel.
Can I participate on an All Star Team or Club Team while cheering on the Louisburg College Cheerleading team?
No. Active members of the Louisburg College Cheerleading team are permitted to participate on other teams during our season. Our season runs from August until the middle of May. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
