Athletic Training Policies

 

  • The Athletic Training Room is for injured student-athletes only, it is not to be treated as a lounge

  • No food or drink other than water is allowed in the Athletic Training Room

  • No cleats in the Athletic Training Room

  • No shoes are to be worn on the treatment tables

  • No cell phones are to be used when being directed or treated by a
    member of the Athletic Training Staff

  • Headphones must be worn if the student-athlete desires to listen to
    music during treatment, and the volume level must be appropriate

  • Profanity is forbidden in the Athletic Training Room

  • This is a tobacco free campus. No tobacco products or other drugs are
    to be used in the Athletic Training Room

  • Please wait for your turn, not everyone can be helped at one time

  • Be on time for all scheduled treatments

  • The Athletic Training Staff reserves the right to refuse treatment to a
    student-athlete who is absent or late for treatment

  • Do not remove items from the Athletic Training Room without
    permission from the Athletic Training Staff

  • The Athletic Training Room Staff serves the student-athlete in a
    professional manner and expects the same in return

  • The Athletic Training Staff has the authority to restrict a student-
    athlete from participation for medical reasons

  • Injuries sustained outside of sport sponsored activities are not the
    responsibility of the Athletic Training Staff
