Hurricanes traveled to Lenior CC last night and came away with an exciting 3-2 victory to go 3-0 in the conference. They came out serving tough in the 1st set and pulled away at the end 25-21. Both teams were able to win

2 sets with timely hitting and serving.  Louisburg started off with 8-7 lead on the side change in set 5.  Rebecca Brown and Mckenna Griffin got some big kills down the stretch to pull out a victory 15-11.

Louisburg was led by Mckenna Griffin with 22 kills on 54 attempts. Lindsay Kirby had 31 digs ,  Jayla Thomas had 19 digs, and Leah Tolson had 8 kills.

Rebecca Brown had a big stat line last night with 48 assists, 14 digs, 12 kills.

Coach Garner was excited for the team, " They played the best match of the season so far as a group. Lot of girls contributed tonight to a big team win. Hopefully this will carry over as we continue the season. We will be getting some kids back

from injury who should help us going foward. I think we will continue getting better, just have to see how things play out. But for now we will enjoy this win."
