The Canes ended the month of September on a high note winning two non conference matches this week. They took down a fiesty Davidson CC team in 4 sets.

Marlana Jackson had 18 kills along with 16 kills from Faith Galassi to lead the way.  Rebecca Sheehan had 24 digs and 6 aces

"We are playing really well going into month of October. We have some big matches coming up next few weeks, including 2 big home matches next week. The conference

race is pretty tight right now, few wins or losses can really move you up or down the list of teams fighting to make the tournament. We play Lenior next week and they are right behind

us in the standings. So we need to keep playing at a consistent level and push hard next few weeks."
