Hurricanes battled thru two matches to take home the wins in a tri match on Saturday. The team played Guilford Tech and won the match 3-0

Then played Bryant And Stratton and won 3-0 also. 

Lady canes were able to battle some long rallys and win very close sets vs both teams.   Faith Galassi  and Lizzy Tuton led the team with 10 kills each vs Guilford Tech.

Jessica Beanard and Rebecca Sheehan had double digit digs . Marlana Jackson had 8 service aces

Faith Galassi and Marlana Jackson each had 10 kills vs Bryant and Stratton

Multiple players had double digit digs in the match

"We played really well as a team this weekend. Every player contributed in several categories.  I like that we are serving and passing better each match and the hitters

are coming along nicely. Hopefully we can continue improving gradually over the season and peak in October."

Team goes to 5-1 on the season
