The National Junior College Cross Country Coaches Association recognized Hurricane Cross Country for their academic success off of the cross country course. The Men's program was ranked 18th overall in the country for GPA while the Women's finished 13th overall.

Leading the way academically for Louisburg was Coleman Cherry and Haley Sheehan with 4.0 GPA's for the Fall Semester.
