The NJCAA DII Volleyball all-region team was announced for Region X on October 25.

Jadyn Powell was voted 1st team.

"Jadyn was an instrumental part of the success that Louisburg experienced this year," said Head Coach IIlani Myers. "She is strong, dynamic and very athletic. As a key part of our offense, she had to learn to turn power into knowledge to develop her game and increase her production."

Powell serves as team captain and she embraced the responsibility of contributing statistically, and being a leader for her teammates.

The 5'8 sophomore from Hueytown, Alabama had 372 kills on 1102 attempts in 19 matches. She had 44 service aces and 248 digs.

"Jadyn came to practice with a positive attitude and no complaints everyday," said Meyers.  "Her dedication to improve and willingness to try new things made her a joy to have in the gym. She earned this honor!"
