The Louisburg College Hurricanes stormed past Johnston Community College with an impressive 89-56 victory in front of their home crowd.

From the opening moments, Louisburg established their dominance on both ends of the court. Led by the dynamic duo of Jade Clowney and Kandace Daniels, the Hurricanes surged to an early lead, outscoring Johnston 28-13 in the first quarter. Clowney, with 20 points to her name, showcased her scoring prowess, while Daniels contributed 9 points and 4 assists, orchestrating the offense with precision.

Louisburg's offensive onslaught continued in the second quarter, with contributions from Chloe Rush, Kimora Cox, and Dyimond Sturdivant. The Hurricanes' relentless pressure and sharpshooting from beyond the arc, highlighted by an 8-21 performance, kept Johnston on the back foot throughout the first half, heading into halftime with a comfortable 51-25 lead.

The third quarter saw Louisburg maintain their intensity, with contributions from various players off the bench, including Carolina Coria and Trinity Smith. Despite Johnston's efforts to claw back into the game, Louisburg's defensive tenacity and offensive efficiency proved too much to handle, as they extended their lead to 71-41 heading into the final quarter.

Contributions from Keniya Loving, Deaysha Hartsfield, and Amiah Griffin ensured that the Hurricanes maintained their dominance until the final buzzer, securing a comprehensive 89-56 victory.
