In a thrilling matchup at Wake Technical Community College, the Louisburg College Hurricanes showcased their prowess on the court, securing a well-fought 82-73 victory against a determined Wake Tech squad.

From the opening tip-off, Louisburg's offensive tenacity set the tone for the game. The Hurricanes, led by standout performances from Jade Clowney and Kandace Daniels, demonstrated precision and efficiency. Clowney's 16 points and Daniels' impressive 20-point contribution were instrumental in Louisburg's triumph.

The Hurricanes established a 15-12 lead, but Wake Tech fought back in the second, with a balanced scoring effort to tie the game at 31 apiece heading into halftime.

The pivotal third quarter saw Louisburg erupt with a 27-point surge, fueled by the scoring diversity of Chloe Rush, Kimora Cox, and Dyimond Sturdivant. Wake Tech struggled to contain the Hurricanes' offensive onslaught, as Louisburg relentlessly attacked the basket and converted key three-pointers.

Despite a resilient fourth-quarter effort from Wake Tech, Louisburg maintained composure down the stretch. The Hurricanes' defensive intensity, illustrated by critical steals from Sturdivant and Rush, disrupted Wake Tech's rhythm and preserved their lead.

Louisburg's solid free-throw shooting, finishing at 72.7%, proved pivotal in securing the win. The team capitalized on Wake Tech's fouls, converting key free throws in crucial moments.

Louisburg's Head Coach praised the team's resilience, stating, "We faced a formidable opponent in Wake Tech, but our players executed the game plan exceptionally well. The balanced scoring, coupled with defensive stops, made the difference."
