Erasmo Ordonez named next TF/XC coach

Erasmo Ordonez was named head coach for cross country / track & field in March of 2023.

Louisburg College athletic director Mike Holloman commented, "I am super excited to have Mo join our Coaching Staff. He brings a lot of cross country and track experience both as an athlete and coach. He has coached at both the high school and college level. I look for him to do great things with our program."

"No doubt I am excited about this new adventure and can't thank Dr. Brown and Coach Holloman enough for the opportunity," said Ordonez. "I had the privilege of working under some great staffs at Mount Olive and Wingate and was able to add a lot to my coaching toolbox. Now I am in a position to lead my own team and utilize the knowledge that was bestowed upon me! The current game plan is to start recruiting the next wave of Hurricanes into Louisburg and plan out the track season. We will open up at Mount Olive next weekend, March 24th and 25th."

Ordonez was also a head coach at the high school level. He worked for six seasons communicating with college recruiters on behalf of student athletes at Clinton High School.
