Men's Basketball came back from their Saturday loss to beat CCBC Catonsville on day 2 of the Louisburg Classic.
The Hurricanes got out to an early lead and went into half time up 41-22.
Coach Bagwell commented, "The guys prepared well during shoot around and executed the game plan early. Jahiem Niblett did a great job in the first few minutes of executing defensively and keeping the ball out of the post."
The Hurricanes also shot the ball better. They were 33-66 (55%) from the floor and also collected 20 offensive rebounds--Anthony Harris (6) and Almando Cyrius (5).
It was a 93-73 final score on 15 points from both Harris and Cyrius respectively. Jahiem Niblett added 14 and Dedric Powell 10.
Harris had 3 steals. Luke Jones and Jordan White added 3 assists a piece.
"It was fun to finally score some points," said Coach Bagwell, "I hope that we begin to trend in the right direction heading into next week."
The 2-1 Hurricanes will take on College of Southern Maryland Thursday at 7:00 pm in Roger Taylor Arena.
