In a commanding performance, the Louisburg football team cruised to a decisive 66-19 victory over Myrtle Beach Collegiate on Saturday. The offense displayed exceptional synergy, with standout contributions from both the passing and rushing attacks.
Passing Game on Point
Quarterback Dylan Trevillian led the charge, completing 14 of 23 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns. His ability to find open receivers and make quick decisions kept the Myrtle Beach defense on its heels throughout the game.
Rushing Attack Shines
The ground game was equally impressive, highlighted by Jameson Prince's explosive performance. He rushed just five times but accumulated 80 yards and found the end zone once. Complementing his efforts were Josue Riley, who scored two rushing touchdowns, along with Evan Garret and Q. Harley, each adding one touchdown of their own.
Receiving Corps Contributions
The receiving unit was a diverse threat, with multiple players contributing to the scoring. V. Burch, Q. Miller, and R. Jones each caught a touchdown pass, showcasing Trevillian's ability to distribute the ball effectively.
Defensive Efforts
While the offense stole the spotlight, the defense also played a crucial role in the victory. By limiting Myrtle Beach Collegiate's scoring opportunities and forcing key turnovers, the Louisburg defense set the tone for the game.
