Bio

A native of Wilson, North Carolina, Athletic Director Mike Holloman was a Louisburg College graduate in 1983. He was named head Women’s Basketball Coach in 1988. Under his guidance, the Lady Canes won 576 games and had an 83% winning percentage, as he claimed eighteen Region X Championships. While compiling this unparalleled record, Holloman’s squad won the 1993 National NJCAA Championship.  He coached fifteen NJCAA All-Americans with at least two playing in the WNBA. He was also was named Region X Coach of the Year, seventeen times. Since being named Athletic Director in 2000 he has taken LC athletics to new heights, overseeing many championships, facility upgrades, and the addition of multiple sport teams. In 2011, Holloman stepped down as Basketball Coach to focus solely on the athletic department.
