The Louisburg men and women headed to Charlotte to run on the famous McAlpine Cross country course.

The Men's team finished 5th of 25 teams with an average 8k of 2540 against stiff competition from Queens, Lee of Tennessee, Alabama Hunstville, and St.Leo finishing just ahead. The canes finished ahead of their 7th place finish last year at this meet. The women finished 20 of 28. 

"Both teams ran excellent today and ran the fastest we have ever run. This was a great milestone to see half way through the season. Javier especially stepped it up big today to run 2 minutes faster than his previous best." 

Next week the Canes head to compete at the Hagan stone classic.
