Women's Soccer won yesterday 5-1 in their home opener against Region X opponent Patrick & Henry Community College.
Alaina Rivera opened the scoring in the 14th minute with an incredible bicycle kick goal, assisted by Alexa Vidal. Two more goals were scored in the first half by Alexis Haymond and Emma Pedraza. Freshman Ryleigh Parker added a fourth right after the halftime break and Vanessa Chavez capped off the scoring with the team's fifth goal in the 53rd minute. Patrick & Henry Community College scored a late consolation goal before the final whistle.
The Lady Hurricanes improve to 2-0 and travel to College of Southern Maryland this weekend for their next game.
