The Louisburg College Women's soccer team lost 4-0 to Cape Fear CC this afternoon at May Field.

The Canes played a competitive first half holding Cape Fear to a single goal heading into the intermission. Following an injury and a whole host of shuffling on defense, however, the Lady Canes were unable to hold the number 12 team in the nation in check in the second half.

The Hurricanes move to 4-5-2 overall and 3-5-1 in Region X play following the loss. Louisburg returns to the pitch on Saturday for a 2pm kickoff at Spartanburg Methodist.
