The Louisburg College Women's soccer defeated Stratford University Saturday afternoon by a final score of 1-0. The game winning goal came from freshman Caryle Wegenast in the 75th minute of a defensive battle. Diana Hernandez was credited with the assist on the match altering score.

With the victory, the Hurricanes now move to 3-3-1 in Region X play and 4-3-1 overall.

Up next for Louisburg will be a trip to Region X foe, Patrick Henry, for a 7pm kickoff on Wednesda
