Women's Basketball Secures Victory at Catawba Valley Community College

In a Region 10 matchup against Catawba Valley Community College, the Louisburg College Women's Basketball team clinched a 66-52 victory on the road. The Hurricanes showcased their prowess on both ends of the court, maintaining control throughout the game.

Leading the charge for Louisburg was the dynamic Jade Clowney, who showcased her scoring ability and leadership on the court. Clowney's all-around performance contributed significantly to the Hurricanes' success, finishing the game with an impressive 14 points, 7 steals, and 2 blocks. 

The duo of Kandace Daniels and Chloe Rush played pivotal roles in Louisburg's triumph. Daniels, with a commanding 20 points, displayed her scoring versatility, connecting from different areas of the court. Rush, on the other hand, made her presence felt on the boards, contributing 10 rebounds to the team's overall effort.

Louisburg College showcased a balanced team effort, with contributions from various players. Kimora Cox, Mackenzie Chabala, and Amiah Griffin provided valuable support.

With this victory, Louisburg College Women's Basketball adds another win to their season record of 12-2 (9-2, Region 10). Hurricanes Women's Basketball will be back on their home court this Tuesday, January 23 at 5pm, where they will face Central Carolina Community College.
