Women's Basketball Bounces Back at Spartanburg Methodist

In an exhilarating matchup at Bridges Arena, Louisburg College emerged victorious against Spartanburg Methodist in a closely contested game that had fans on the edge of their seats. The final score stood at 82-74 in favor of Louisburg College.

The Hurricanes were led by Kandace Daniels, who dominated the game with an impressive double-double. Daniels contributed 32 points and secured 12 rebounds. Trinity Smith also made significant contributions with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and a well-rounded performance on both ends of the court.

The Pioneers led at halftime by 11 but the third quarter witnessed a remarkable turnaround as Louisburg College seized control of the game. The team's offensive efficiency, coupled with a strong defensive presence, allowed them to outscore Spartanburg Methodist 26-15 in the quarter, establishing a lead that proved crucial in the final outcome.

The Hurricanes' road swing will continue 6pm Thursday night at Johnston County Community College. The game will be played at Harrison gymnasium, 611 W Noble St, Selma, NC. Admission is $5, cash only.
