Women's Basketball opens with decisive road win

The Louisburg College women's basketball team defeated Central Carolina Community College 93-30 Tuesday night. 

Early pressure built a double digit lead for the Hurricanes in the first quarter.  Louisburg ended the half on a 21-0 run to lead at halftime 50-14.

It was more of the same in the second half as the Hurricanes outpaced the Cougars 43-16.  

Louisburg had five players in double figures with freshman guard Kandace Daniels leading the way with 30 points.

The Hurricanes are back in action November 5th and 6th when they participate in the 1st annual 401 Classic being held on the North Campus of Wake Tech Community College.  Both games tip at 1pm.
