Louisburg College men's cross country participated in NJCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships on November 13 at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, VA. The event was hosted by Richard Bland College.

 

Louisburg finished 24th in the event. 

 

"To be honest this meet did not particularly go well for our team," said Chandler Caldwell. "We were a bit shorthanded and some guys were running a little nicked up. Also one runner dropped out sick, but I'm proud of our team for pushing through. This was a great experience for our freshman and I have no doubt we will be back next year better than ever."

 

Matthew Bauer (26:58) finished 65th in the nation; John Gormley (28:02) placed 113; Brian Marquis Jr. (30:25) finished 166; at 183 was Tiwan Woodard (32:56); and at 193 Sean Johnson (35:26).
