Track at Myrtle Beach Collegiate

The Louisburg College men's and women's track teams fared well at the Myrtle Beach Collegiate Challenge, despite the brutal weather conditions. According to coach Chandler Caldwell, "A face full of rain and a brutal cold wind caused times to be slow, but that is all part of the sport."

Sophomore Laterrion Johnson finished 2nd in the Triple Jump and 4th in the Long Jump.

Sophomore Sidney Littlejohn won the 110m Hurdles in a time of 15.01 into the wind.

Matthew Bauer and John Gormley both ran 15:44 in the 5K. This was a personal best for Gormley.

The Hurricanes will travel to Mount Olive on March 26th.
