Louisburg Sophomore Kyle Hinson was named the NJCAA Atlantic Region Track Athlete of the year by the USATFCCA on Tuesday. Hinson, who came third in the nation in the 5000 meter race in a time of 14:25.89 was named the best track athlete over a field of junior college athletes in the region stretching from Florida to Maine. This is Hinson's second athlete of the year award after winning the Atlantic Region Cross Country athlete of the year in the Fall.
