The full track team headed to Winston-Salem over the weekend to compete at the JDL indoor track facility. The camel city invite proved to bring great competition with over 20 teams including Duke, Campbell, mount olive, north Florida, and Unc-Charlotte among others.

Jacob Willis led the way for the Canes this week with a 4:19 mile time, ranking top 8 in the country.

The Distance medley relay consisting of Jacob, John Connolly, Anthony hall, and Javier Alejandro also qualified for nationals ranking 6th overall.

Zach Boyers also had a college best throw of 47 feet 5 3/4 inches good for 12th overall in the competition out of 37.

Finally Hailey Euler had a solid race in the mile running 5:49 for a college best performance.
