"The Louisburg Hurricanes men's soccer team notched their second Region 10 victory in a 2-0 victory over USC Lancaster on Friday at home. The Hurricanes defense was stellar, with Gio Solis blocking a penalty kick to earn his second shutout of the year. Ricky Maldonado's first goal of the season put the Hurricanes up 1-0 in the first half with an assist from James Fergany. Fergany also scored on a header, his third goal of the year, with an assist from Ryan Goldsmith. The win takes the 'Canes overall record to 2-2, and puts them at 2-0 on this season in Region 10 play. Louisburg travels to USC Salkehatchie on Saturday with a scheduled kickoff time of 4 P.M."
