"The Louisburg Men's Soccer team captured its first win of the season over Region 10 opponent Spartanburg Methodist College in Spartanburg, S.C. The Hurricanes scored what would be the game-winning goal in the 18th minute after James Fergany scored on a Ryan Goldsmith assist. Giovanni Solis recorded his first shutout of the season with four saves. The Hurricanes move to 1-3 overall, and 1-0 in Region 10 play.
