On February 13 men's basketball hosted Southwest Virginia Community College. With 56 points in the first half and 57 points in the second the Hurricanes pulled of a convincing 113-79 win.
There was an exciting run in the second half coming from Louisburg's trapping defense that led to the decisive victory.
Travon Gray had 16 points; Jimmy Forte and Jayden Munson each added 13; Baron Williams had 12 points; while Almando Cyrius and Omar Brown added 11 respectively.
Other stats include Ayinde Taylor II with 10 rebounds. Also, Cyrius contributed in a multitude of ways with 3 offensive rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists.
Next men's basketball travels to #1 Davidson-Davie Community College. In the first match up the Hurricanes were defeated on last second free throws.
