Men's basketball hosted #15 Bryant & Stratton College (VA) on Saturday.

The Hurricanes had a good start and went into the locker room up 38-32 at halftime. The second half was tied 33-33 leading to a 71-65 Louisburg win.

"The guys had great focus this morning in shootaround. So I was pleased with how we guarded their sets today. And Tra[von Gray] made some huge plays for us," said Coach Bagwell. Gray had a spectacular 12 rebounds and 6 steals.

On the offensive end Gray and Omar Brown each had 12 points. Jimmy Forte and Baron Williams added 10 points.

"I was proud of how we took care of the ball tonight. We only had 9 turnovers for the game until the last two minutes," said Coach Bagwell.

The top 20 win moves men's basketball to 7-3 in league play. The Hurricanes travel to Greenville, NC to take on Pitt Community College on Wednesday.
