Men's Basketball almost perfect from the Free Throw line

Louisburg College men's basketball took on Guilford Technical College on Saturday and won 101-94. 

Raequane Key led Guilford Tech and all scorers with 35 points, but it wasn't enough for a win. However the Hurricanes were an almost perfect 20-21 from the free throw line.

Omar Brown led Louisburg with 20 points. He was 4-4 at the free throw line. Jimmy Forte had 16 points and was 6-6 from the free throw line. Ayinde Taylor II added 14 points and was 4-4 from the free throw line. Taylor had 5 offensive rebounds and was one rebound shy of a double-double. Jamel Marbuary had 14 points as well. He continued his good shooting being 6-7 from the floor including 2 three-point makes. Almando Cyrius rounds out double figure scorers with 12. He was 5-10 from the floor. Overall Louisburg shot 44% from the floor and 95% from the free throw line.

"It was nice to get our turnovers down today," said Louisburg Coach Bryan Bagwell. The Hurricanes had 12 turnovers and forced 15.

The Hurricanes have exam week coming up and will take the floor again in one week against Patrick & Henry Community College.
