Hurricanes Come From Behind

In the second men's basketball game of the week at Louisburg College, the Hurricanes took on Region X opponent Bryant & Stratton.

Bryant & Stratton took a 41-28 halftime lead, but Louisburg was able to come back and win the second half by 18 for a 76-71 victory.

"Our defense had big holes in it in the first half," said Louisburg head coach Bryan Bagwell, "but while we were in the locker room at half time I could definitely feel something shift. We just decided to win, and we did whatever it took from then on out to get the result we wanted."

Raja Milton led the Hurricanes with 19 including 5-9 from beyond the 3 point arc. Malik Bryant added 15 points, and Jordan White had 12 points on 3 early 3-point field goals in the first half.

Joe Barrino collected 5 offensive rebounds. Malik Bryant and JahQuez Sanders had 4 steals each.

The Hurricanes will return to action against Catawba Valley on Saturday. The game tips off in Hickory at 3 pm.
