Men's basketball crushes Central Carolina CC 138-63

The Louisburg College Men' basketball team ran away from Central Carolina Community College on Monday night, winning by a 138-63 margin inside of Roger Taylor Arena. With the win, the Canes improve to 5-3 on the season.

"We needed a bounce back team win after last week," said third year Head Coach Neil Dixon. "We talk a lot about momentum and this got things back in the right direction heading into the Thanksgiving Break.  Its also good when you can get other guys some time.  Those guys practice hard everyday and we very much need them to be ready when their number is called."

The Hurricanes operates a very balanced attack on offense with seven different players scoring in double figures, led by Jalen Gaddy with 26. Also pouring in doubles on the night were Jordan Oakley (19), Seth McCoy (16), Armoni Lee (15), JD Wade (12), Marquise Riley (12) and Ismiell Etienne (10).

The Canes will now break for a few days to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday, but will return to action on the road November 29 at Vance-Granville Community College.
