Louisburg grabbed the early lead and never looked back. Led from start to finish, never trailed. The canes also hit 11 three point field goals.
Coach Dixon is happy with the overall start to the season but knows they can improve going forward.
"We have to continue to strive for 40 minutes of good basketball. There were stretches in the second half that we weren't at our best."
"It was nice to have JD Wade back. He's a transfer that dealt with injuries in the past and got banged up last weekend. We held him out yesterday, but when healthy he adds another physical guard that can pass, dribble, and shoot."
