Louisburg came away with the win over Richard Bland last night 78-71. The victory places the Hurricanes in sole possession of first-place in the region. This was a highly anticipated match-up between the nationally-ranked No. 6 Hurricanes and No. 5 Statesman. The win snapped a 7-game win streak for RBC, while Louisburg extended their own streak to 14.
"Bobby Arthur-Williams was huge for us," said Louisburg head coach Neil Dixon. Arthur-Williams played a physical 21 minutes while grabbing 7 rebounds and scoring 9 points for the Canes.
