Coach Clayton Hall, "I am very pleased with how the offense performed this week. We had one player rush for over 200 yards and another had over 100 yards receiving. We have done a good job creating explosive plays offensively in key situations. It's been exciting to see the kids continue to get better as the season has gone on. We have had over 1,000 yards of total offense the last two weeks and the credit goes to the players continuing to play hard."

Defensively the Hurricanes were equally dominant. The Canes' recorded  four sacks and four interceptions in the contest.

According to Coach Jonathan Hodges, "We preach playing fast and that's exactly what they did. It wasn't perfect, but that kind of effort covers up mistakes."

The only score for Myrtle Beach was a kickoff return in the 3rd quarter for a touchdown.

"This is a special group of young men. We are extremely proud of how our team performed this weekend. They play with the level of focus and intensity that we've preached about all season. They've shown tremendous growth every week, and we're proud of how they've battled adversity all season," said Head Coach Quinderra Spellman.

The win moves the Hurricanes to 5-3 on the season. Their final contest is this Saturday at Alexandria City High School against Nassau Community College. Kickoff is at 3 pm.
