Bio

Trey Chapman is entering his 3rd season with the Hurricanes and is responsible for recruiting and working with hitters and outfielders.

Previously, Chapman was an assistant at Francis Marion University for 2 years where he worked with hitters and infielders. He was also responsible for field maintenance and assisted in recruiting.

 In Chapman’s second season with the Patriots, Todd Mattox was a consensus 1st team all-region and an honorable-mention All-American. Mattox led the Patriots in almost every offensive category including reaching base safely in every contest that season.

Prior to coaching, Chapman spent two years as a player at Francis Marion. He also spent two seasons at Southern Union State Community College in Wadley, Alabama.

Chapman is a native of Hampton, GA, and a 2019 graduate of Francis Marion University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree specializing in Marketing.
