Women Earn 2nd Place Finish At Hagan Stone

On the first of October, both of the Louisburg cross-country teams took the bus to compete at the well-known Hagan Stone Classic just outside of Greensboro, NC.

According to coach Jay Koloseus, the women's race, though a success, could have played out much differently.  "We did not execute and win the entire event, when we were more than capable.  We did improve, however, from our last outing and this is very important.  Having Haley Sheehan jog the course helped a lot.  This team time will earn us a national ranking, but we need to get better to win the region and qualify.  At this point it is on me to fine tune our athletes."

The Canes will race again on October 7th in the Queens Royal Challenge in Charlotte, NC.
