Canes volleyball get a 3-1 win over Central Carolina Community College

The canes got a big road win this past weekend over Central Carolina. The canes came out with great energy led by McKenna Griffin with 6 aces to win set 1 25-11. 

CC came out and played great defense and timely kills to take the 2nd set 25-21.  Canes rebounded with much better team effort to take the 3rd set 25-21.  

Defense and serving led the way in the 4th set, Lindsay Kirby and Jayla Thomas made some big defensive plays along with good serving from the team to win 25-11. 

The team had 17 aces, 71 digs, hit .152; Griffin had 22 kills on 52 attempts.  The canes are 6-3 overall , 3-1 in the conference and face the brunt of their conference schedule in month of October.

Canes will travel to Pitt CC on 10/1 for a @6pm match
