The Hurricanes Volleyball Team traveled to Hickory Saturday to compete in the Catawba Valley Extravaganza. The team played USC Salkehatchie and Catawba Valley and put forth a strong showing. The Hurricanes are back to a full strength roster after missing players for several weeks due to injury. Louisburg downed Salkehatchie in straight sets (3-0) before losing 3-1 to Catawba Valley. Louisburg is the only team in the conference to have taken a set from the Red Hawks. Play continues this Tuesday when the Hurricanes host Davidson County in Louisburg.
