Lady Hurricanes Fall in Tough Tri-match

On Friday, the Lady Hurricanes Volleyball Team traveled to Dobson, NC to compete against Cape Fear Community College and Surry Community College in a tri-match. The Canes lost a hard fought battle against Cape Fear in 5 sets after winning the first and fourth sets. The Hurricanes also had a set point in set three but Cape Fear managed to battle back for the win.
In the second match, Louisburg lost the first two sets to Surry but came back with some fire in the third set to force a fourth set in which Surry finished the match with a win.
The Lady Hurricanes showed a lot of resilience in the back to back matches with several athletes playing outside their position due to injuries. They continue the season at Fayetteville Tech on Monday, September 10th.
