Women's Basketball Receives Votes in National Poll After Big Weekend

The Louisburg College women's basketball team moved to 3-0 on the season after a pair of wins over Harford Community College and Palm Beach State College respectively.
The Hurricanes defeated Division 1, Harford Community College out of Region 20 on Saturday 72-42. Louisburg College led all 40 minutes of the game. Chloe Rush finished with a career high 15 points and shot 55% from the field.
Sunday, the Hurricanes battled for a 60-58 win over the Panthers of Palm Beach State College. Down by just three at halftime, the Canes poured in 24 points in the third quarter to take a 6 point lead. Kandace Daniels led the team in scoring with 14 points and Antonia Whorley pulled down double digit rebounds for the third game in a row.
The Hurricanes open up Region X play this Wednesday, November 9th when they host USC Salkehatchie at 5pm. The game will be live streamed on the official Louisburg College YouTube Channel.
