Lady Hurricanes take home a pair of weekend wins on the road

The Louisburg Women's Basketball team picked up two wins this weekend participating in the JCC Fort Hood Veterans Day Classic in Smithfield, NC.
Saturday brought a rematch with Johnston Community College in which Louisburg completed the series sweep with a score of 92-34.
The second game of the weekend pitted the Hurricanes against the Panthers of Denmark Tech. Louisburg took an early lead up 42-29 at the half. The Panthers rallied in the second half but the Hurricanes we able to hold on for a 89-75 win.
The Hurricanes are currently 4-1 through their first five games. Their road swing continues this Saturday at Southwest Virginia CC.
