Lady canes basketball suffer a tough loss to Catawba Valley CC 95-69

The lady canes went to Hickory to play Catawba Valley in a big conference match up. Catawba Valley is top team in the conference at this point in the season and the Canes were 3rd in the
conference coming into the big game. Lady canes didnt bring their top level game today. The Canes played hard but they were not able to sustain the pace and Catawba Valley
pulled away in the 2nd half.
Canes leading scorers were Sparrow and Melvin with 16 points a piece.
Canes will have to regroup and get ready for Bryant & Stratton this Saturday.
