Canes had a tough test tonight vs conference foe Patrick Henry. This was a tightly contested battle in the first half. Patrick Henry was able to get to the basket in the first half and get to the free throw line to keep the game close.
The Hurricanes came out from the halftime break and played some really tight man to man defense to open the 2nd half. They also started to dominate from the inside and get out on the fast break to help score some easy points. They were able to pull away late in the 2nd half and get the big win.
Canes run their record to 13-2 overall; 9-2 in the conference
