Men's Cross Country team finished in 10th place at Nationals ; led by Jack Mastandrea 9th place finish

The Louisburg men ended their season with a 10th place finish at Nationals on a chilly 32 degree morning in Fort Dodge, IA. The Cane's were led by Jack Mastandrea for the 6th time this season with a 9th place finish, the highest individual finish by a Louisburg XC athlete ever.

"Jack ran outstanding today. He really went for it. He executed his race plan perfectly and constantly moved up throughout the race. " mentioned Coach Hayman.

"Overall I am content with the performance of the team. They ran hard but came up a little short of our team goal. Kyle stepped up over the last mile to run as our second runner and Jacob pushed thru after getting spiked on both legs."

The Canes finished 1 place ahead of their national finish last year.
