Hurricane Track & Field Open First Full Outdoor Track Schedule at Mount Olive Saturday

The Cane's continue their inaugural Track and Field year by transitioning from the shortened Indoor 200 meter track races to the full outdoor track. With the launch of Outdoor Track, LCTF looks to continue to establish school records for the years to come. 

 
Solid competition is expected this weekend from Mount Olive, Methodist, UNC Pembroke, Mary Washington, Livingston, and Barton among others.

Since the conclusion of the Indoor Track & Field  National Championships, that ended with a record number of All-Americans, the 'Canes have been hard at work preparing for their first ever Outdoor Track campaign while also giving back to the community. LCTF gave their assistance officiating and running the 4th Annual T. Sanders Memorial High School Invitational down the road at Franklinton High School that saw over 25 high school teams competing.
