Men's basketball end the semester with a big win over Vance Granville Community College

Louisburg College men's basketball defeated Vance-Granville on Tuesday 90-64 to wrap up first semester play. The win puts the Hurricanes at 4-2 in Region X and 8-5 overall.  

Sophomore, Antonio Patterson, had 19 points and 5 rebounds for Louisburg—including going 4 for 6 from the 3-point line. Malik Bryant contributed 16 points on a perfect 6 for 6 performance from the floor. De'Shone Hicks added 13. 

"Greg [Ackles] has his guys playing hard," said Hurricanes coach Bryan Bagwell. "Tonight was a good way to finish out the semester, and we're all looking forward to what is next."

 

The Hurricanes return to action on January 9 at Patrick Henry Community College. The game will tip at 7 pm.
