Men's Basketball defeat Guilford Technical Community College 100-75 to win 3rd straight game

Canes overcame a slow start this afternoon at the Roger Taylor Athletic Center. They were down at the half 34-33, but stormed back in the second half to run away with the game.

Jordan Oakley came up big with 29 points. Coach Dixon was not pleased with the teams first half performance.

"Disappointing first half, we were just uninspired.  Obviously second half was totally different but 20 minutes of good play is not good enough to accomplish the goals we have set.
Jordan Oakley and Armoni Lee were on a different level today. Armoni isn't always going to lead us in scoring but he just does so many little things and may be the toughest kid I've had at Louisburg. Jordan has put up good numbers all year but I thought today was the first day he just dominated the game.  For him its all mental, hes working on being more consistent."
